The Golf Cart Is Getting A Makeover

Tim has been working hard on the Golf Cart and has taken everything off so that it is down to the frame with the body off to the side. This is Tim's first Golf Cart that he has worked on but he has done this to several cars before so he is very familar and very good at doing this. When he did get the body off the cart he discovered that the frame has had some issues and will have to be welded but until he gets it to town he did clean up the rest of the frame and yesterday, since is was warm and sunny (56 degrees), he was able to get the frame painted. So the cart is on it's way with the makeover. The four tires that came on the cart Tim was hoping to salvage at least two of them but they are pretty much shot so he has ordered two more tires. Tim has already ordered and received two rear tires with extra traction. Once the cart is done it will have new batteries, new tires and whatever else it is going to need. So, the makeover has begun on the golf cart and I will keep you updated with it's progress along the way. Tim enjoys doing this kind of thing and it has been a long time since he has done a project like this. Now all we need is to have some decent weather (no rain) so he can continue to work on the cart.
