We Have Tomatoes

The tomato plants are starting to show some fruit, yes the tomato is a fruit not a vegetable.  There are three variety of tomatoes this year, beef steak, roma and grape.  Lisa and George really like tomatoes and last year we discovered that the romas make the best tomato sauce.  It looks like the plants are going to be plentiful and so we will be ready to get busy canning and eating some goodies soon.  We still have a little while to go before we start harvesting but so far so good!
