Beer, Wine & Tru Moo

What does Beer, Wine and TRU Moo have in common?  They all have to be bought separately at different stores.  Tim and I wanted to do something nice for the neighbors we met the other day, something like a reverse welcome wagon, instead of us receiving little welcoming gifts we found out what the neighbors like and we give them a gift.  So the mission, after laundry, was to purchase the items listed in the title.  We live in Cocke county, which at one point was a dry county, and so there are some county regulations with the selling of alcohol.  Wines and liquors are sold through liquor stores only. Liquor stores do not sell beer because there is very little profit to be made on beer.  Beer can be bought at gas stations and drug stores and TRU Moo is bought at the grocery store.  By the way, TRU Moo is a brand of chocolate milk.  Starting today however,  you can now get beer at grocery stores and Walmart.  That is today, not yesterday.  So Lisa graciously drove me around Newport so I could purchase all the items on my list.  I am glad to say that after an hour of just trying to purchase these three items our mission was successful.  Do the neighbors like our gifts?  I will let you know when I see them again!  After all, we do live on a farm, surrounded by farms, so we are a little spread out.  It is going to take a iittle while to get to know the dos and don'ts in our new area but I am up to the challenge!  Today's mission is to walk all around the farm and take pictures so check back tomorrow to "see" the farm.
