Earth Day
Today is Earth Day and it is the 45th year of celebrating Earth Day. It was started in 1970 by two people; a conservationist from Washington State and a Senator from Wisconsin. Who would of guessed we would be celebrating Earth Day 45 years later. So what is the best way to celebrate Earth Day? Plant wild flowers or trees, conserve water, spend time outdoors, or take a walk in the woods. Everyone can celebrate some way. I know George has been busy tilling the garden beds so he has already begun celebrating Earth Day at the farm. We will be spending some time outdoors today and soon we will be planting flowers and hopefully attract butterflies which is another great way to celebrate Earrh Day. So happy Earth Day to all!
