The Farmer's Daughter and Marketplace

We had our first real dose of Fall weather yesterday with temperatures in the high 50's/low 60's and rain.  What a change from the 85 degree weather we have been having all week but now it feels like fall.  So our plans changed up a bit.  Originally we were going to Abingdon, VA but the rain stopped that then we were going to have what is considered THE BEST BBQ Ribs in Eastern Tennessee but since it is outdoor seating that wasn't going to happen so we decided to only eat one big meal for the at and went to The Farmer's Daughter.  It is a restaurant that serves family style, all home cooking and really good.  If you leave this place hungry then you didn't like the food.  We had two meats, our choice, and about 15 sides along with a drink and dessert all for one price.  It was delicious and sharing it with wonderful friends made it even better.  I think we are still FULL!
